Golden Website Contest XI

For the seventh time, LUG S.A. won the 11th edition of the competition organized by the Association of Stock Exchange Issuers, this time defeating competitors in the combined category for small companies from the regulated market and alternative market NewConnect, winning the title of "The best investor relations service” in the "small companies "category.

The award giving ceremony of the 11th edition of the Golden Website competition took place on the June 6, 2018. In this year's edition, the companies competed in the framework of newly defined categories. The jury awarded companies in two classifications: the best IR service and the best online communication. The title of "The best investor relations service” of the “small companies "category hit the sixth time in a row from the government to LUG S.A.

The Association of Stock Exchange Issuers has been organizing a competition for over ten years, the aim of which is to promote the highest standards of communication of issuers with investors and shareholders, paying particular attention to the functionality and aesthetics of investor relations websites.

“Bulls and Bears” of NewConnect

Editorial office of Investors and Stock Exchange magazine "Parkiet" presented capital market awards for the 24th time "Byki i Niedźwiedzie" ("Bulls and Bears") and "Złote Portfele" ("Golden Wallets") awarded to the best companies, institutions and personalities of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The statuette in the category "Company of the year from the NewConnect market" was awarded to the LUG S.A. Capital Group.

During this year's gala of "Bulls and Bears", which took place on March 21, 2018 at the headquarters of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, prizes for the best companies of the Polish capital market were distributed. The Bull statuette for the "Best company on the NewConnect market" was won by LUG S.A. The competition jury justifying the award to LUG S.A. of Zielona Góra mentioned the fact that the Company adopted a new strategy and significantly improved its results.

The "Bulls and Bears" award is the most important and the oldest distinction awarded to the best companies and capital market institutions by the Investors and Stock Exchange magazine "Parkiet". Organizing these type of events is aimed at promoting professionals, companies and institutions that contribute to its development.

iF Design Award 2018

Once again LUG is the winner of the prestigious international design competition iF DESIGN AWARD 2019, this time thanks to the AVENIDA luminaire, which won in the category of lighting product. AVENIDA is a professional solution for public areas’ lighting - a strategic area for the development of LUG. Responds to the needs and problems of today's cities - its use allows for increasing the safety and comfort of users while ensuring high energy efficiency of the city lighting system.

For over 60 years the iF Design Award logo has been an internationally recognized symbol of the finest achievements in the field of industrial design. About 60 renowned experts from more than 20 countries select the award winners in a clearly structured process based on well-defined criteria. This year 6,400 products from nearly 50 countries were submitted to the competition which makes this an even bigger success for AVENIDA.

This is the third time LUG received an iF Design Award which proves that the company consistently maintain the highest level of industrial design. In previous years, POWERLUG (2016) and CRUISER 2 (2017) were granted in this prestigious competition.

Best Lighting Investment 2018

The competition jury recognized LUG Light Factory for the use of the best lighting solutions in the area of luminaire selection and placement, which affects the unique nature of the investment. The lighting and illumination effect obtained was considered to be uniquely compatible with the architecture.

The prizes for projects were awarded in two categories:

1. Illumination of public, private and sacred objects

1st place: for the revitalization of lighting in the urban space of Zielona Góra: Vine Park (lighting of the Palm House) and illumination of the ruins of the castle in Zatoń

2. Interior lighting of public objects, centers, commercial buildings, service and hotel facilities

2nd place: for the lighting of the Bałtyk office building in Poznań

The competition for the Best Lighting Investment is a prestigious event that has been organized for the twentieth time. The competition aims to promote investment activity in the field of lighting. It recognizes the best lighting investments and promotes and disseminates good, innovative technical solutions that achieve significant savings in electricity consumption.

Distinguished for Export of Poland

On February 06, 2019, at the Congress Center of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, there was a ceremonial Gala of Export 2019 organized by the National Association of Exporters of the Republic of Poland. Entrepreneurs, local government representatives, representatives of government administration and non-governmental organizations interested in the development of exports and the media met during the event. The key moment of the Gala was the awarding of the medals "Distinguished for Export of Poland" awarded to the chapter of the National Association of Exporters of the Republic of Poland in three categories: Personality, Institutions and Companies. The Capital Group of LUG S.A. received a medal in the Companies category, representing the Lubuskie Voivodeship.

Lubuskie Business and Innovation Leader

During a festive gala held on September 24th in the Kepler’s Science Centre in Zielona Gora, awards for the best businesses in lubuskie were handed out for the tenth time.The popular and prestigious competition organised by the Western Chamber of Industry and Commerce together with Gazeta Lubuska aims at choosing and awarding the best business in the region.

This year, 56 companies competed for the title of the Lubuskie Business Leader. LUG S.A. Capital Group won the competition in the “big companies” category for the second year in a row. Also during the event, awards for innovation leaders were handed for the fifth time. LUG received the title of Innovation Leader as well.

Economic Award of Marshal of the Lubuskie Voivodeship 2018

On October 11, 2018, during the gala of the Economic Congress - Lubuskie in 2018, the 45 best companies from the Lubusz area were recognized. Among the awarded entities was LUG S.A., which received the Economic Award of the Marshal of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, appreciating the company's contribution to the development and promotion of the Lubuskie region.

LUG S.A. is a world-class leader in innovative lighting solutions recognized for its contribution to the development of entrepreneurship and the labor market of the Lubuskie Voivodeship and Zielona Góra, where it has its headquarters. The Economic Award of the Marshal of the Lubuskie Voivodeship extended the prestigious group of awards of the LUG S.A. Capital Group. and confirms the commitment that LUG's activity stands out in the business environment of the region.

Diamond of Polish Economy 2018

LUG was also honored with the title of Diamond of the Polish Economy 2018, an award granted for eleven years by the Institute of European Business to the companies of the electromechanical industry. This is an independent ranking based on a company's market value, on the basis of which the European Business Institute analyzes the financial results of Polish enterprises and banks.

Received award confirm the strong position of the LUG S.A. Capital Group not only in the region, but also on the market nationwide.

Gazelles of Business 2018

LUG Light Factory, one of the companies forming LUG S.A. Capital Group, was awarded with the prestigious Business Gazelle title for the fourth time, taking 44th place among companies from the region and 2167th position in a nationwide ranking. This year's ranking prepared by "Puls Biznesu" was attended by a record number of 4.5 thousand companies from Poland, including over a hundred from the Lubuskie Voivodeship.

Gazelles of Business is the oldest ranking of the most dynamically developing small and medium enterprises that stand out showing an increase in sales revenues over recent years, published by the editors of Puls Biznesu in cooperation with Coface Poland. The ranking is not a result of a decision made by jury or competition council, whose opinions would influence the results of the rankings. The only criterion is the financial results of enterprises. A good position in the ranking reflects into commercial contacts and strengthens the credibility of companies. Listed companies are perceived as trustworthy partners and dynamically developing businesses.

Polish Investment and Trade Agency Award in the category: Foreign Expansion

During the ceremonial Gala, on October 15, 2018, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency honored the best Polish exporters and foreign investors this year. LUG Light Factory was among 9 Polish companies recognized in the category of Foreign Expansion.

The award honors the activity of our company in foreign markets. There are already 6 foreign companies comprising a part of the LUG S.A. Capital Group and export activity accounts for more than half of our turnover. PAIH paid particular attention to the foreign expansion of LUG in South America, especially in Argentina, where this Monday, October 29, the first production plant of our company will be officially opened.
